Initially I wanted to keep both OS's on the same SSD. But Windows 10 is shady enough and I hear how its forced updates like to overwrite the linux installs. Would installing linux on a different drive prevent this and be bettet in general?

Is this typically painless to do? The said SSD mostly just contains the OS and a few select programs. I just did a fresh install a month ago so I don't want to re-install all over again this soon.

Yup, unplugged all other drives and my blu ray drive, I was able to get in just fine.

Actually I just realized a fatal mistake potentially. I had already upgraded my windows 8.1 to 10 a couple days ago, just an upgrade not fresh install. I had left my drives in during this. Am I already affected?

I have 3 drives on my computer, an OS SSD, storage HDD and another SSD for other things. I already backed up everything I need to do. But when I do a fresh install, will it format the other two drives as well or will I have to do it manually?

In my bios, I set the vcore voltage to 1.25. I'm using HWmonitor to watch it, and the max it reached was 1.322. I'm also looking at it through cpu z and the core voltage has been staying between 1.224 and 1.236. Not sure if this program keeps track of min/max like hwmonitor though? I'm using a...
