I have my games backed up on my HDD. Just wondering what’s the best way to reinstall Windows 10? USB? Fresh Start?

What performance issues should I be looking for? I don’t notice anything currently

It was prebuilt by Dell with Windows 7. After years, I finally upgraded to Windows 10 for free. I checked the product and I believe I remember it saying it was Retail. When I deactivated Windows 10 last night, it said it activated it through my Microsoft account.

How do I perform a "shakedown" on the windows install?

Thanks for your input. Since I haven't had any issues thus far, what should I be looking for that makes it obvious I should reinstall Windows? I have GTX 970 by the way.

I recently remade my PC. I bought the B450 Gaming PLUS MAX, DDR4 Ram, and Ryzen 3 3300x CPU. On my old PC, I had Intel i7 2600 with a Dell-made MOBO. I also had an SSD where I had Windows 10 and my game files installed. I built the new PC using my new parts and everything started up smoothly...

I let it run. Nothing happened. Then said could not run start up repair for the SSD.

It started diagnosing and now it’s on a black screen with a jumpy curser that has the “thinking ring” pop up

I have a dvd with Windows ISO I can boot from, FYI.

Correct for both, except I can see my HDD in BIOS but not when booted in my SSD.

I cannot boot from the HDD. I’m in “This PC” on my SSD right now. I cannot see my hard drive under “devices and drives”.

When I boot up from the SSD, the resolution is not formatted correctly and Microsoft says “we can’t sign in to your account” and gives me a temporary profile.

If I uninstall windows from the SSD, will this fix any issues? I feel like this has to do with disk partitioning

I do not want to lose all of my files on the HDD. How do I save those files if I cannot boot?
