    Hi all, I have this Router I flashed it with DD-wrt and enabled pptp. I am able to successfully vpn to my router. My question is does this cause any strain on the router? Will my router start heating more or will it affect my home network's performance? Thanks

    choice between feature and power

    It depends on what you're going to be doing with the devices. As a movie watcher, I'd go with the Flex 2 for SSD booting, better video card and IPS display. For gaming, i7-4710MQ has the edge. As you already know, the Flex 2 looks nicer.

    I would not call that a decent computer. For starters, the graphics are integrated. Second, CSGO is a CPU intensive game. That processor is not that great. You pay for what you get in a laptop. To get decent fps, increase your budget to $700

    I'd suggest a new setup all together for gaming. Assuming you have these specs : AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core Mobile Processor P320, ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics card you will have a hard time playing 2012+ titles Ideally, you'd want an i5 processor, 8gb of ram, and a class 2 or better GPU...

    Laptop ram (SODIMM) may differ from desktop ram (DIMM). You may use the harddrive/SSD and processor depending on the chip(most are M series) and if its soldiered on or not.

    Try using google's dns. Change adapter settings > Properties > IPv4 > Properties > Use the following DNS Server addresses > 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
