GTX 1060 usage low, massive fps drops

I have been having issues with my system recently. For a while, the GPU would not down clock when not in use and stuttering was occurring occasionally. However, in my attempts to remedy the issues, I have come across something far worse. My GPU usage will go down to 60% in game and my frame...

    GTX 1060 core clock drops

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been testing the GPU to better understand what exactly is going on. According to MSI, the manufacturer of the GPU, a MSI GeForce GTX 1060 0 ARMOR 6G OCV1, the base and boosts clocks are supposed to be 1544 and 1759 respectively. However, when at stock, my...

    GTX 1060 core clock drops

I am still new to overclocking and am curious as to whether or not the core clock dropping down from 2088 to 2053 is normal behavior for nvidia gpu's. This doesn't occur at stock. I am currently using MSI Afterburner 4.5.0. Even at lower overclocks, of 50 mhz and +100 to the Core Voltage the...

Sorry for multiple posts. I'm using a wired connection and the Bios and Windows 10 (with nothing going on) also stutter

Pagefile is greater than Maximum size

I will be calling Gigabyte, the mobo manufacturer tomorrow, as I can seem to be able to solve the issue. The NIC isn't likely to be the cause, as games also stutter, with Crysis 1 and 2 have near constant stutter, regardless of load. Meanwhile, Crysis 3 doesn't have near as much, if any...

Pagefile is greater than Maximum size

I have unistalled and installed a couple of different nvidia drivers. Tried different bios versions(f2, f3, and f5). How would I know if I have a "killer" NIC and what does it do? Would disabling it result in any other issues? Thank for responding.

Pagefile is greater than Maximum size

So, the pagefile seems to be fine now, but there are issues still plaguing the pc. I first noticed the issue when I would start netflix videos, my system would hang and the films would stutter. I hoped that the issue was something simple, like a poorly managed pagefile, but that isn't the issue...

Pagefile is greater than Maximum size

When the pagefile size was system managed, it was at about 10GB. So, i changed the pagefile to have a minimum of 1000 mb and max of 3000mb, as I have it on an SSD and I have 16GB of ram. When the pagefile is at 10GB, my ram is at 6 - 8GB. All I need to do to hit 4000mb is run a chrome tab, and...
