Yeah that's I wanted to upgrade the mobo, cpu, and cooler at the same time. At this point I'd probably prefer the other stuff over gaming. I can always upgrade later the gpu later. Hopefully the gpu i currently have doesn't bottle neck the whole thing though.. Thanks for the input!

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue that someone else just posted on here as well though with different hardware. My CPU's temp started spiking while idle about 2 weeks ago and it's gotten progressively worse. I've done everything I possibly could to troubleshot but alas nothing has worked...

As the post says, I am looking into buying a third monitor. I currently have EVGA 4gb gtx 970 SLI running two 1920x1080 monitors. Could I run a 1440p monitor along with my two current ones or should I just stick to the same model I have?
