Question What potential problems could be happening on my WISP's end?

I have run the Tracert stuff before however a bunch of IP addresses come up and I'm not really sure which is which. Although the first one I'm guessing my router, usually has no latency and the second one usually does have spikes in it, very similar to the last hop which is 8.8.8.8. Also I'm...

Question What potential problems could be happening on my WISP's end?

I get my internet through a WISP and have a lot of issues with them. They are a very small and shitty company so its expected. Anyway I have had constant ping spikes while playing online games. These problems where occurring 24/7 for about 3 months straight. I came here for help and we did...

[SOLVED] Unstable connection with my WISP.

okay thanks. All of this helps a lot. One thing I am wondering though about that Tracert I did run a tracert and my ping is good at the router but after that every other IP has massive lag spikes every few seconds I don't know if that means that it's coming from the access point or our radio or...

[SOLVED] Unstable connection with my WISP.

I pretty much confirmed that the massive lag spikes i have been getting over the course of six months is on my isp's end. I have a WISP that USED to work well and now I believe that they're connecting too many people to one access point. What I'm wondering is if it's more likely that they've...

[SOLVED] Are these test results enough to prove the lag is my isp's fault?

We are defiantly not using all of the bandwidth because it used to work fine and now it doesn't even if only one device is connected with no downloads. Would you recommend i send this to my isp?

[SOLVED] Are these test results enough to prove the lag is my isp's fault?

Because the speed test sites dont show the ping inconstancy even though i tested it over 50 times with a speed test site. They have tested it with speed test sites and just say "looks good" when its clearly not.

[SOLVED] Are these test results enough to prove the lag is my isp's fault?

I ran these test all simultaneously and get the same result with both laptop/pc and wired/wireless. If I send these to my ISP will they do anything about it? I have been experiencing a lot of lag for a while and I am pretty sure its their fault.

[SOLVED] Every day has become a bad day for my internet.

I did the Tracer. the first hop (router) consistent low ping never comes up, everything else runs a decent ping but it's frequently spiking up to 300 or more. My internet is a form of long-range Wireless called Airnet

[SOLVED] Every day has become a bad day for my internet.

So I ran the test and I got 0% loss on everything, however, when I run the test on 8.8.8.8 the Ping is very inconsistent. Also not able to bypass the modem because I do not have one. Cable from the radio on my house goes directly to the router(built in POE). I have also contacted my ISP on this...

[SOLVED] Every day has become a bad day for my internet.

So I need to bypass the router and ping in the cmd? Also I'm not sure if the radio on the side of my house counts as a modem. If not then I don't have one. Currently I'm using my isp's router, the radio on my house has a black cable similar to an ethernet cable coming from it, which plugs...

[SOLVED] Every day has become a bad day for my internet.

Are you talking about other people in my house? The problems occur even if there is only one device on in the house.

[SOLVED] Every day has become a bad day for my internet.

I mean there's a cable coming from the antenna mounted on the house if that's what you're talking about. I don't think I'm able to bypass the router completely I've tried in the past it hasn't worked.
