It sounds like you have killed the partitions on the hardisk, I'd boot the PC with a gparted iso and check what the partitions on the HDD's look like before you go any further....

Download the "Media creation tool" from Microsoft, run it and select "Create installation Media for Another PC" ..... You can burn it to a DVD or make a bootable USB stick. This is an Install / Recovery image, which you can use to run a new install or use the recovery options on any PC.

My guess is speccy is not reading the amount of video memory correctly on your particular card. I'd run GPU-Z and check in there, I'm sure you find it will report the 8GB of GDDR5X correctly :-)

You won't get a good result in running the monitor at a higher resolution than it supports. The image will be scaled and not look so good. Always best to run the monitor in it's native resolution. If it still doesn't look very good then, sell em both and grab yourself a 1080p monitor.

You could try downloading a bootable linux gparted .iso (.iso to USB Drive to boot from) Then use gparted to make the partition changes, rather than in Windows. http://gparted.org/ (Use at your own risk!)

Depending on the power supply you buy, there's usually some molex connectors on them. You can connect the fans straight to those. If not you'll need to get some adaptors.

Have you made sure the power button connector is on the right pins ?

I'd also check to make sure you haven't had a fan on it die, and it's thermal throttling.

Saves having to do a bunch of updates after a clean install. (I just built a new PC and made sure I created a new USB stick beforehand so I didn't have to download to many updates thereafter)

Have you tried setting Windows to not restart on a critical error ? (so you can see the BSOD error and hopefully troubleshoot more) Control Panel > System> Advanced Options > Startup and recovery settings > Un-check 'Automatically restart' in the System Failure section....

Yes the Media creation tool will now produce an image with the Anniversary update build.

As far as I'm aware they are all 8GB Cards, New Titan is 12GB.
