I changed the psu when I upgraded my gpu,my previous graphics card didnt require the 6 pin powrler supply. (750 ti) Im in the UK

I have changed the cpu to my old one and it turned on however I cant see if the graphics card is working because it doesnt have the 6 pin power connector to it. Thats why I upgraded to the new one. I think I might just take the shot and get a new psu, can you recommend any?

Yeah nothing seems to be broken, when I turn it off and on from the back and try to power it, it turns on for a split second and all the fans start spinning but then turns off.

I also wanted to add that I have connected my old processor AMD Fx 4300 quad core which I have received more consistent FPS on, this processor is definatelly bottlenecking however I have not seen the same problem as with the 8350. The utilization is at 100% all the time which is not the same as...

It is not bottlenecking since my cpu would be at 100% utilization then and even when it doesnt lag it never gets to a 100%, also I've done all the things that would increase my performance even set my background to a still colour. I really dont know what could be causing this.

One thing that I have noticed is that when I get the FPS drops my utilization of CPU drops from anywhere from 60-90 to 20-30 and when the lag stops if goes back up. Is that due to bottlenecking or?
