So guys i kinda went in and took a med-soft toothbrush and brushed the back of the PCB pf my Gpu "msi gtx970 gaming 4g" and cleaned the whole pc using just the toothbrush. Any thoughts? Is it gonna damage the parts? I didnt scrub the hell put of the parts just softly loosening the dust is it okay?

For 4k gaming the r9 290x would be good but at the same time your buying a card which i a power hog and it fould be used as your room heater. Performance on both cards are equal but the gtx 970 needs lower power consumption thant the r9 290x and runs lot cooler too. for me ill go with the gtx970

Actually the settings from ultra, high, medium,low doesnt to get any difference inless if you put on all AA and ambient occlusion or motion blur it will make a change.

You would probaly go with the i74790k for gaming multi tasking or any other stuff. Xeon series are for Servers and ethusiasists just mentioned by sandstorm3000 and they are not suitable for gaming. 5fps isnt a problem unless youre running 30fps below.. which might lead to lagging.

If you like gaming on 4k the r9 290x is the way to choose performance with the gtx970 is quite equal. But the cons with the r9 290x is that i runs hot and needs a larger power supply and its is quite loud. Both are great cards. If i were you i would go for GTX970

Yup as what clutchc said its OK. Your casing needs more airflow improvement. Use msi afterburner to run the fans they will help you. My msi gtx970 gaming runs 32C°-40C° and Max 50C° while gaming on ultra.
