[SOLVED] Gigabyte X570 Auros Master won't boot after BIOS update. Boot device not found.

So if anyone stumbles upon this question, I finally solved it. I ended up installing the newest BIOS (F10a), and reinstalled windows from scratch. That solved the issue, and the PC boots up fast and w/o error.

[SOLVED] Gigabyte X570 Auros Master won't boot after BIOS update. Boot device not found.

tldr: Pc won't boot after BIOS update from F5 to F7b. "Error boot device not found", but I can't select the proper boot device in Bios. Mobo display shows "AE" code. Tried BIOS version F6, but that doesn't work either. Version F5 works, but apparently still tries to boot from all available...

    Question Is i7 6700k ok for Rex 2080ti ?

I had massive problems with stuttering in AC: Odessey at 3440x1440p. I also use a 6700k @4.4ghz and a 1080ti. My framerate line looked a lot like yours, but I found a froum post that helped me run it smoothly: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1945377-Game-stuttering-please-fix-this...

Question Overclocked GPU for a couple hours, is it's performance affected?

Don't worry about it :) Unless you messed around with adding xtra voltage from a custom BIOS, your 1660ti should be fine. Newer generations of GPU's have many safety features baked in, that you really can't circumvent without a custom BIOS. Even the voltage slider in MSI Afterburner is basically...

Question Ryzen 7 1700X Overclock: Decreased Performance!?

I haven't messed that much with Ryzens so I could be wrong. But could it be that your temps are pretty good, XFR actually boosts higher than 3,8 ghz on stock settings? Thus giving you a better score than when you set it manually at 3,8?

    Question GPU bottleneck

If it says 1,20 ghz in BIOS, then its no surprise that it only runs at 1,2 in windows. Try setting it to 4,0 or auto in Bios? But it is definitley not the GPU, sounds more like a BIOS or mobo issue.

    Question Overclocking i5-6600k

I don't know if they will enforce it if you try to return a dead CPU. Probably depends on the seller, but in theory yes it would void the warranty. Don't know if they can tell if the cpu died bc of oc tbh... But the 6600K is a fairly old CPU, is it really still under warranty? Anyway, if you're...

    Question Overclocking i5-6600k

You cant OC on a B250-board. You'll need a Z170 or a Z270 to OC. But you can stil download XTU and mess around a bit. However alot of the options will be locked.

New Gaming PC - Need Community Input

That should be very god build. You could save some money on the PSU, 650W or perhaps even 550W should be enough. Also if you plan to game online, perhaps you should look into a wired solution, instead of wifi, if possible of course.

    PC overclock itself

Ryzen has a build in feature called XFR (eXtended Frequnecy Range), which essentially is a auto overclocking feature. It kicks in when you have thermal headroom. Perhaps that is what you're experiencing? In that case I wouldn't worry. BTW, from all that I've heard it is a very good idea to...

    High temp warning

With a capable cooler like a X62, I think that 67 - 75 degrees is very high for a 6700K at stock speeds. I would reinstall the cooler and apply some new thermal paste, and see if it helps with the temps.

choose between ddr3 ram need opinions

I thought they both had CAS 9? But the timings are a bit tighter on the Ballistix kit, but I doubt that the difference will feel noticable. Anyways, color is always a personal choice, so if that is a factor you should get the Ballisitx kit I guess. They are both really good, and almost...
