Discussion AMD's 3D V-Cache Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU getting a PRICE cut next month. **Rumor**

Right now you can get 5800X for roughly 300€ and 5900X for 400€ while the 5800X3D costs about 470-500€, almost the same with a 5950X. If it doesn't drop below 350€, everyone will continue ignoring it.

Question Vbios switch caused weird issue

Hi, I own a Asus-Noctua 3070 and 3-4 weeks ago i switched from the Silent to the Performance Vbios via the onboard switch. Since then if i try to update the drivers to a new version, ex. today i tried updating to the 516.94 via GeForce Experience, the process gets stuck at 50% progress and if...

[SOLVED] Which GFX Card Do I Need?

If you want a 60FPS experience, you can probably getaway with a 3070 or a 6700XT, but i would go for a 3080/3080Ti or a 6800XT/6900XT, whatever you can find for less money. As a 3070 owner, i can confirm that i have an excellent gaming experience at 2560x1440, but your resolution will be more...

[SOLVED] Every GPU i get, it has coil whine

650W with top notch quality is more than enough, both the 2070 super and the 3070 are hard limited to 240W, so i'm good at that. Now about a multimeter, i will have to check and see what's all this about, never heard of it.

[SOLVED] Every GPU i get, it has coil whine

The PSU is 3 years old, my systems are for gaming use, 1440p. Coil whine comes from the GPUs, 100% sure about it, because it changes when a scene in a game changes. Build specs included now on the post.

[SOLVED] Every GPU i get, it has coil whine

As the title says, every gpu i owned for the last 2-3 years had serious coil whine, meaning that i can easily hear it while the GPU is in the case...Sometimes with headphones too, depending on the game. Today i got a new Asus-Noctua 3070 and it has it too...My previous 2070 Super had it aswell...

    Discussion Less known GPU Manufacturers

I knew the moment i typed ''less known'' that people will react to it and it's fine...In my country everyone talks about Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA, Sapphire, Asrock and maybe Colourful...That's all...Anyone else's never being in consideration...Example: I'm into PCs for years now and i did not...

    [SOLVED] RTX 3070

Hi, I want to replace my 2070 Super with a 3070. Currently i'm using a RM650x (2018). Will this PSU be enough for any version? Do 3070s have similar power spikes as the 3080s and 3090s ? Rest of the system has a power draw of 150-200 watts depending on the load. No problems with the 2070...

    [SOLVED] PCIE Cables Question

I own a 2070 Super which requires an 8pin and a 6pin power connectors. The 8pin connection is fine meaning that the plastic lock above the connector locks the cable into place with no issues, but the 6pin doesn't lock, it's connected there basically loose and i'm not sure if it can create...

[SOLVED] Deciding which GPU I should get

Even at 1440p he'll lose some performance with high end cards.I've seen it happening in my system with a 3600 and a 2070 super, compared to my new 5600X...There is a bottleneck, but of course it's significantly less than the 1080p one.

[SOLVED] Deciding which GPU I should get

We don't know the resolution you want to use. At 1080p and even 1440p, pairing one of these cards with the 2600 will result in a bottleneck...Not a terrible one but you'll lose some performance.Especially in 1080p. At 2160p or ultrawide, it doesn't matter. You are going to be full GPU bound...
