I tried doing that (graphics thru MOBO) with no avail.
I tried it with 1 and no stick of ram as well.
I also tried it with 1 stick of ram and connecting through the video card (2 to be exact, 1 current and 1 old one)
I have an SSD, but I disconnected the hard drive when I'm trying to boot so I eliminated that. Also, I would have display if the hard drive went bad wouldn't I?
I only have the CPU, MOBO, and PSU in.
At the moment, I'm thinking that it's the PSU.
My computer was on and I literally tipped it up off of it's side by 2-3 inches and the whole screen froze. The sound was frozen on an annoying EEEEEEE sound.

SLI 970 is out of the option because I cannot shell out another $300. $170 is a big price upgrade for me, but since I have a 144 hz monitor and I have been capping games @ ~90 FPS (more modern FPS games like COD/BF) then a 10% upgrade is actually huge for me. I have also heard bad stories about...

I want to add that I have a 144hz monitor so even a 10% increase in FPS will be worth it.
I just got a GTX 970 Asus Strix OC edition today and you bet that I want to make this card work hard labor!
I been doing some research on this card and it turns out it maxes at close to 1300Mhz Core and 2000Mhz memory. (Maybe I should've went with another brand?!)
Anyways, what is the correct...
