Weird thing, in my case i uninstalled mu GPU and this happened, to solve it i had to remove my old graphics card drivers and use windows update, and it was solved! OS : win 10 64bit

what about a 2gb model, i mean games are maxing out 2gigs at 1080p today, will it last 2-3 years?

I was thinking of getting a GTX 960 which is about a year old now, but then i heard that pascal will be launched next summer, I dont upgrade too often, so should I wait for it? I want what ever i buy to give me high settings at 1080p(30fps) for atleast 3 years.

what resolution are u playing on?

an r9 380X is the best option in your situation, it beats a 960 by almost 10% and is newer. We all saw what happened to the 700 series GPU's from nvidia, after maxwell was released, and with Pascal around the corner it will be safer with a 380X.
