[SOLVED] I'm looking to buy a new phone

FWIW.... I just pre-ordered the S22-ultra using the Samsung web-site because BestBuy had run out of the "free memory upgrade". I ended up being able to order the Ultra-512GB for the price of the Ultra-128....because Samsung gives the free memory and they also give us veterans an additional...

Question Case like legacy Antec Twelve Hundred

FWIW, I ordered on 2/7/22 and UPS delivered the fully configured PC in exactly 7 days (today being 2/14). The Fractal case and PSU that you suggested were included. The case has room for "several" hard drives! Thanks for the advice!

    [SOLVED] Graphics w/i7-12700KF?

I know the CPU's are essentially the same, but am "stuck" with the *-KF if Newegg does the assembly because they don't assemble parts that are not SHIPPED from the same California warehouse. Thanks for your suggestion on the video!

    [SOLVED] Graphics w/i7-12700KF?

I'm trying to assemble using Newegg's "PCBuilder" w/their Eniac/in-house assembly. No i7-12700K CPU available, so alternative is i7-12700KF + video card. I do NOT do games and limited video editing/rendering. For past 7+ years I've done nicely with GTX-970. Hope this PC will last me another...

[SOLVED] Does this parts list make sense?

Thanks for your suggestions. Your point about the SSD is new for me. As for the cooler, I'm using the Newegg PCBuilder and although Newegg sells/ships the Artic cooler, the PCBuilder doesn't link to it. Will investigate further!

[SOLVED] Does this parts list make sense?

Thanks for your thoughts. I chose the EVGA PSU for it's 10-year warranty, but can live with the Fractal PSU with its 7-year warranty. By the time the warranty expires, I'll be pushing towards 85 years! Another poster just suggested the PCIe 4.0 is not the bargain that might be assumed...

[SOLVED] Does this parts list make sense?

I'm planning to replace my 2014-vintage desktop (i7-4790 w/16GB Ram). Does anything on the following parts list sound ignorant? CPU: Intel i7-12700K MB: MSI Pro Z690-A Wifi, DDR4 w/6 SATA RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 32GB DDR4 (PC4 28800) Case: Fractal Design Define R5 PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850 G6 M.2...

Question Case like legacy Antec Twelve Hundred

I bought the stuff that I'm updating in 2014/2015, which was a good experience. The big thing for me at this moment is to acquire the same new rig here (San Antonio), our local established PC builder wants about 30% more for the identical core components......especially CPU and MB. Thanks.

Question Case like legacy Antec Twelve Hundred

Wow....that case looks great! Thanks for the info. The Eniac service appears to be something new @Newegg. My sense is that they wouldn't offer if the services are unreliable.

Question Case like legacy Antec Twelve Hundred

I need a new case because I'm not going to assemble the new one and the old system can be "repurposed" at the church.

Question Case like legacy Antec Twelve Hundred

I'm trying to use Newegg's PCBuilder. Projected system will be i7 12700k w/32Gb RAM and M2 boot SSD. I have several standard HD's and Philips BDR that I would like to migrate from an i7-4700 (2014 vintage). Most cases seem to allow only 2 or 3 standard size drives. What would be a good case...
