my god I'm so stupid and confused my motherboard is a b85m-g43 so sorry first time building a PC but can I use the i5 4690k with the b85m-g43 motherboard? and the reason being that I got that i5 4690k is because I got it new on eBay for $180 and in case I ever want to upgrade my motherboard.

but my motherboard is a msi b150m-g43 mother board on newegg it says it is lga 1150

what but they are both lga1150 right?

i was wondering if you can overclock a GPU/CPU on a non Z-Series motherboard and my motherboard is an MSI b150m and it has this thing in the BIOS/UEFI and it its called EZ Overclock and like I said it is not a Z series motherboard so I would like to know whether or not I can overclock a CPU/GPU...

I was going to get a core i5 4460 for like $180 my mobo is a lga 1150 and a gtx 1060 for like $200 but I do not have enough money for them so I was wondering if there were any other parts that have the same/near performance for lower price.

Maybe drivers have you updated them? if it is old drivers then they might have had a maximum clock speed.

I have a H100i V2 Extreme Edition and the back plate rattle's when you touch it and im worried that when i install it and put the block on and screw it on to the back plate it will rattle and the heat sink will not always be on the CPU is this normal for it to rattle?
