As a bandaid, I have a batch file on the desktop that I execute to force my computer to sleep when I am done with it for the day but if something draws me from my computer for several hours ide like for it to enter sleep on it own without me telling it to sleep lol.

did some searching on Newegg and think I have come up with this combo, Motherboard, and CPU. My only conern with the MB is will it allow me to keep using my internal capture card? Since that CPU is on backorder i may go with the cheaper i5 option or the cheaper i7 option.

Update, I took it to a local shop that does free diagnostic and they have come to the conclusion that I was theorizing of the MB has failed.

Never heard of a CMOS battery causing issues that makes a computer restart. Far as I'm aware all the battery is for to preserve bios settings and the date-time on the MB.
