This makes a lot of sense why I am having an intermittent problem as apposed to all the time - i will move it to a front mount setup ASAP

I originally checked in Cinebench and was holding 70 degrees on multicore - now its over 90 on all cores. Brand new AIO. Wondering if it just worth my while getting some new thermal paste and reseating it again

Top mounted pushing air out the top, its brand new bought it with the build. Ambient room temp is sub 18degrees Celsius . 3 fans on front pulling in air and 2 from rad pushing out top one at rear pushing out air.

Hi Guys, I've recently impulse purchased a new build with specs below. since putting it together it was keeping nice and cool for the first few weeks (admittedly I didn't have a lot of time to use it) but now I've noticed it intermittently overheats, getting up to 90 degrees whilst playing...

yeah i did that forgot to unplug front usb's ETC - will put it back together and try doing this again cheers

i'm not sure didnt notice them on when i recheck the vid - will put pc back together and check

Hard to hear but theres a single CLICK when i press button (i thought was power supply first time) , then it wont do that again unless i power down for 10 mins and re power then it clicks again then nothinng. Thanks so much for all your help btw :)

Its a single Click - to me it sounds like a blown capacitor but cant be sure. thanks - sadly dont know a single person i can plug my CPU into there mobo :( Thinking about just buying a new MOBO as a few people have said CPUS are really hard to kill and i never OC mine

Thanks for this - i suspected this to be the case with the Corsair Watercooler i have , its working well. Will give it a go and not order the replacement watercooler unless requred

hi guys, quick question. i am going to order myself an i7 7700k and mobo ram etc to upgrade from my i7 930. i have an exisiting corsair watercooler in my system now. just wondering if it would fit my new processor and mobo or if i should add new watercooler to my order. thanks in advance Dave
