[SOLVED] Looking for a 144hz or more Monitor curved with ips panel

Cheap ones. I had a AOC Q3279VWF with noticeable ghosting. Now I have an Asus VG27QW, no ghosting with the right settings, Trace Free at 80. For general use and PC gaming, I think VA is actually better than IPS, because of the much better contrast ratio and black levels. View...

[SOLVED] I want to buy a monitor.

I meant that if 25" is good for 1440p, therefore poor for 1080p. The PPI isn't high enough, 1440p is really worth it, more than those high fps. He can get those very high fps after he upgrades the GPU. He has a good enough GPU for 1440p for the near future. A monitor purchase is a big thing...

[SOLVED] Looking for a 144hz or more Monitor curved with ips panel

Gigabyte G27Q ASUS VG27AQ Both are IPS and have the specs you want at a good price. VA is perfectly fine for curved 27 though, the viewing angles are spot on across the entire screen due to the curvature, and VA has better black levels.

[SOLVED] I want to buy a monitor.

25" is a good size for 1440p. On my second PC I have a 23.8" 1440p monitor, the picture sharpness is amazing, great picture quality and removes the need to use Anti-Aliasing in games. There's also no to need to use scaling in Windows. 1080p 23.8" is the same PPI as 1440p 31.5", both are low once...

[SOLVED] I want to buy a monitor.

Yes, it's even better. Great monitor. Once you go 27" 1440p you can't go back, it's a much better experience.

[SOLVED] I want to buy a monitor.

GTX 1070 is good for 1440p until he upgrades, even if only next year. Especially for the popular multiplayer games, which aren't very demanding. Ideally, a monitor should outlast different GPUs, if he doesn't upgrade to 1440p now, he will get stuck on 1080p for quite some time unless he sells...

[SOLVED] I want to buy a monitor.

Don't buy a 1080p monitor, it's very bad investment at this point. A monitor is supposed to last you many years. Get a 27" 1440p 144hz/165hz monitor. After you go 1440p, you can't go back, the impact on the gaming experience is bigger than refresh rate imo, for both resolution and immersion...

[SOLVED] What are the best budget 2k gaming monitors?

Asus VG27WQ, I have one and it's amazing, probably the best for the 400$ budget. Being a VA panel, it has better black levels than the Gigabyte one.

Question Horizontal flickering lines on my AOC 4k monitor (video inside)

But if it isn't a problem with the monitor, why did it work perfectly for months and only later this issue appears? Did you change any cables? I didn't... Doesn't make much sense. Maybe it's a problem that makes it not handle 75hz well, 60hz must be a lot easier. Some monitors aren't even native...

Question Horizontal flickering lines on my AOC 4k monitor (video inside)

Isn't this what you have?: View: https://youtu.be/sxLhG4GZ9vM The monitor worked perfectly during months, then, it started showing the lines like a few seconds after power on. A little bit latter they started lasting 1 minute, as more months went buy, they last 10 minutes. I found this thread...

Question Horizontal flickering lines on my AOC 4k monitor (video inside)

Did you find a solution? Mine does the same, It's getting worse with time. You solve it if you reduce the refresh rate to 73hz, but I suspect as it gets worse with time, 73 stops being enough and you eventually need to reduce even more. Just out of curiosity, do you your router close to the monitor?

[SOLVED] 2600X Stock voltage too high Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4

I found the solution. I disabled "core performance boost" in the bios, which disables that horrible XFR. Now the voltage stays true to that VID value I input, doesn't go up in spikes anymore! I don't understand why anyone would use XFR, it's complete garbage with those INSANELY high volatges...

[SOLVED] 2600X Stock voltage too high Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4

Hi, I have a 2600X with a Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4, with everything at stock/default, the Vcore goes up to 1.48v when browsing and gaming, which I know isn't exactly safe... When I try to set a manual Vcore it is impossible, it only has a "VID" setting, the default VID is 1.18750v and lowering...
