Well, passmark shows the brand as "240GB SSD" the passmark score for the disk is 3684, so not too bad. Lets just hope they don'e die the day after the 1 year limited warranty expires...

Given that you applied 12v to the 5v input on the drive... does that mean the you can replace the controller board or is the whole drive dead?
