Most people say the main difference between these boards is SLI/CrossfireX support but the 970 board I'm looking to buy says it supports that stuff. If I'm going to Crossfire 2 cards and may overclock my FX8350, should I get the 970 or spend a bit more to get a 990fx?

Hi there, I'm building a pc but am not sure if 550w would be ok for this build. Specs: Processor: AMD FX-8350 Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming CPU Fan: Cryorig H7 RAM: Crucial ballistix 8GB kit Graphics card: MSI R9 390 Would a 550w PSU be ok or would I need a 600w?

Does it have the same performance as the CM?

I'm buying a case that has a max cpu cooler height of 150mm. The CM 212 EVO is 158.4mm in height. Would I be able to put this in or should I change one of the parts? Edit: The case is the Aerocool V2X btw 2nd edit: The case is 170mm wide

Thank you very much. While this has been helpful, I am now saddened by the fact i will need to get a new case or find a new mother board. By any chance, could you recommend an am3+ Matx board that supports SLI?
