[SOLVED] Computer randomly shuts off with driver failure

Hi John, Thanks for the reply! I did a clean full wipe install, did not use DDU only uninstalled the driver from device manager and did grab the latest from Asrock just 2 weeks ago. I'll give DDU a try to see if that hopefully helps alleviate the issue. I definitely hope its not the motherboard...

[SOLVED] HP Beats AMD A10 Laptop Thermal Shutdown

I was kinda thinking it was the heatpipes honestly, because from what I've researched on my own that seems to be common. Unfortunately seems that they aren't the easiest to get their hands on however. I'll give it a check! Thanks!

[SOLVED] HP Beats AMD A10 Laptop Thermal Shutdown

Hey all, We have a bit of an older HP Beats edition AMD A10 laptop that my wife got in college. Thing's never exactly been a beast, however it worked up until suddenly it didn't. [SOLVED] Random crashing

Ok, I'm at a genuine loss here. My computer was working flawlessly until earlier today. No changes, no new programs or hardware. Suddenly it's crashing every few minutes with no logs outside of a "suddenly shut down" log. My ram usage is a bit high but other than that nothing. I've ran ram...

Question Dell Inspiron N7110 Operating System not Found

I actually don't even get that far, it boots up, goes past POST, then immediately just says "No Operating System Found". I have boot priority set for the USB first, but I've also tried to just set it to boot from a SSD that already has an OS on it that works perfectly and it's not detecting the...

Question Dell Inspiron N7110 Operating System not Found

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron N7110 that had a bad hard drive in it. First I put a brand new drive in and tried to install Windows 7 via USB, but when booting to the USB it came up just with "Operating system not found." I know the USB stick with Win7 works, as I use it quite often. I then put...

    Question Windows XP Media Disconnected

Back again with another driver related issue I'm sure for Windows XP. We have to connect to the internet, but it just says "Media Disconnected" on both ipconfig and the network properties. I have tried 3 different drivers, and double checked that it is the correct driver for the network card...

    Question Windows XP Inaccessible-Boot-Device error

We actually FINALLY fixed it! For whatever reason, the AHCI drivers were being screwy. I was able to get the drivers fixed so that it could read the SSD and it worked perfectly. Thank you for watching this thread and replying as much as you did, I appreciate it!

    Question Windows XP Inaccessible-Boot-Device error

It does appear there, and I can select it as a boot option. When I do however, it just goes to the blank HDD screen when no OS is loaded. I'm also able to make partitions etc on it when I put it in a different computer and have it as a secondary drive.

    Question Windows XP Inaccessible-Boot-Device error

I decided a slightly different approach due to not having time to get myself the Linux Live CD. I took the HDD out and put it in another computer and tried to do it that way. I'm still getting the same error's that I was getting on the other computer, so that kind of rules out the motherboard...
