    Okay, I can hear the system running, and the little red light on the front is on, showing HDD activity. Still no signal, though, and now the fans aren't running.

    Thankfully not, they were written on the cables. I could check to see if maybe the labels are on the wrong heads.

    So, I have a Midi In/Out cable plugged into the appropriate ports; I was hoping it was just a plug-n-go, thing, but it isn't. Windows 10 recognizes it as a Midi USB, but I can't get anything sending through to the PC, and I am not sure how to change the settings to do so.

    Alright, now RAM? The b85 supports pc3. 240pin, 10600/12800 RAM. I want at least 16gb, whether that is two 8gb, or the max 4 slots at 4gb.

    I'm staring at the i7-4770, since it seems like that is the latest gen it can support, with integrated graphics. Being that Oculus Link minimum is i5-4590, seems like it might be a good one.
