[SOLVED] Do I even need more RAM? 2 sticks vs 4

Just got some Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (4x8) sticks installed. They look fantastic and it seems they are working perfectly. It looks like im able to do more without slowing down or losing any performance and its showing that im actually using less physical RAM. not sure but i'll be...

    Building my 1st gaming PC

You're putting a ton of really high-end components in a rig and only getting a Kingston SSD (and only 240GB at that) and Seagate HDD. Also unless you're planning to play at 4k or 2k 144Hz your rig is really OP. I have an 8700k and 1080 Ti and there are very few games I can't play on Ultra on...

    Wow + Streaming, Bad FPS

This is a well known issue with WoW. The problem is the CPU optimization. WoW is only optimized to use 4 cores total, and 3 of those are not used nearly as much as the single one. So literally anything else you do will impact performance if it is utilizing that core. It's not a fix but a...

    Suggestion for GPU pls !

For starters at 1080p a 1070 will give you Ultra quality at 60fps on any new game, Tomb Raider being by far the most graphically demanding of those games, for fortnite and pubg you can get by with a 1050 Ti if you don't care about ultra quality. It 100% depends on what kind of quality you want...

Can I get 120+ fps on World of Warcraft?

I have an 8700k and a 1080 Ti, playing at 3440x1440p on preset 7 but I can't hold over 60fps in Boralus due to CPU limitations. GPU even at 3440x1440 barely uses 50% of the GPU.

    What’s better to buy?

There's no such thing as an 11GB 1080, its a 1080 Ti. And you give no context. It entirely depends on what you're doing and if your MB/PSU can even support a multi-gpu setup. Gaming 1080 Ti will be better. For mining and other uses that will use both GPU's to the full extent, 2 1070's is better.

Gaming laptop Suggestions. max 2700 Euro

I was looking into laptops not long ago also for WoW mostly, but that would play AAA titles if I wanted and would work great in either case Asus ROG Zephyrus was my choice. Comes with a really solid CPU (8750H), 144Hz 1080p G-sync Panel, and a Geforce GTX 1070. Was $2,200 US, so I imagine it...

    Ultrawide 1440p Benchmarks

If I was in your shoes I would grab the 2080. It should be around the same price (emphasis on should) anr will have a slight performance bump and should be able to utilize ray tracing in upcoming titles. That’s just what I would do personally. But even a 1080 will do 60Hz Ultra pretty much any...

    Ultrawide 1440p Benchmarks

The problem is very few places benchmark UWQHD or UWFHD. I've found that if it can run between 55-60fps at 4k it can run 90-100fps at 3440x1440 on the same settings. As an owner of a Predator X34 I can tell you if you want to play on Ultra @100Hz you need a 1080 Ti. 60Hz you should be fine...

The hype is out, what about some numbers?

Unless you're playing at 5k, 4k over 60Hz, or 200Hz 1440p, a 1080 Ti is plenty for gaming for the time being. So the incredible price tags on the 2080 and 2080 Ti are not justified at all. That's really all I need to know. I have a 3440x1440 100Hz monitor and there are almost no games my 1080...

Does this water cooler fit on 8th Gen intel sockets

To answer your other question, yes there are better coolers out. For example, the H115i. That is assuming you can fit a 280mm radiator in your case. If all you can fit is a 240mm radiator then the H100i v2 is a good option.

What do you guys think about this build?

If you can't overclock the MB there's no point in getting RAM faster than 2133MHz, don't waste the money if the board can't OC the RAM will be at 2133MHz regardless of what speed you buy. So I'd stick with whatever you can find that is cheap, yet reliable, which is generally 2133MHz/2400MHz...

World of Warcraft Issue for Kids PC

That's a hardware/driver related issue. Latest Nvidia drivers have been causing all kinds of crashes. Same problem with mine. I have found that trying several times it eventually boots up. Started for me immediately after updating my drivers about a month ago or so.

    Corsair 750d and h100i mounting

No reason to not go with a 280mm rad if you have a 750D unless it was free or something. If you haven't bought it yet I would strongly recommend you consider an H115i Extreme or H115i Pro. Aside from that. Panikattak is correct the best place is the front of the case with fans set to push...
