In gaming you will see no difference when the ram speed is different, thats why its barely more expensive.

It really depends honestly. The i5 will probably make photoshop smoother. But overall both will work well!

The only cable that can transmit 144hz besides display port is a dual link dvi port which is supported with this monitor.

At that price point I would go with an 8350 and put some more money towards the GPU. Either way, it will be a solid build.

It is top of the line, their are just some games right now that no one can run. Your power supply is also more than enough and should allow for future probability.

You should be able to perfectly fine, only thing that MAY be holding you back is the 980 and thats only if you were playing a game like the witcher that cant even be ran at max settings on the card in the first place. Good buy:)

I am trying to determine if I should get 2 980ti's now or wait till pascal. The only reason I am worried about getting the 980ti's now is because the hype of pascal makes it seem like all cards are going to be obsolete when pascal comes out.
