So I've now come to realise that it's only with certain games, Fallout 4 and Spec Ops The Line do it, but Warframe and My Friend Pedro don't, this makes no sense to me.

I have no idea, this just started happening randomly, I don't know if it's actually every 2 minutes it just feels like that, all I know is that it definitely feels like it's happening at the after the same amount of time each time.

Update, it didn't actually fix the problem at all, my games are still dropping frames the second I start moving my mouse.

So it turns out lowering the setting to 500 fixed the problem, although I feel like I still notice a slight fps drop, I also don't understand why it all of a sudden was impacting my framerate when the polling rate had been set to 1000 since I bought the mouse

Turns out it's actually set to 1000 but polling rate checkers show the polling rate as being between 50 and 100. So I started a firmware update yesterday for my Rival 3 and it still hasn't finished, the lights on the mouse are still flashing, but I don't know if there has been any progress. Is it normal for steelseries firmware updates to not have a progress bar?
