72c is decent.. it's better to be under 70c. Definitely make sure it doesn't go above 75c. Something that might help is adding some more case fans to keep your entire system cooler. I recommend the Arctic case fans.

In the top left of your board there should be connectors that say CPU on them. Make sure those are both plugged in.
