Arma 3 is really unoptimised and does tend to stutter especially in intense encounters. Just rendering takes a while and faster is always better. Not looking for discussion on what I do, just need a bit of a increase (perhaps spending an extra 150 or so on top of the price of the i5 8600k)

Thanks a bunch, just have to do some research like you said as im really not confident at al in all the BIOS and tampering bits.

just general CPU intensive games (mainly arma 3) and also do some rendering etc. Nothing too important just nice to have (and wont lie, me and my friends always play the who has the best game ;))
