A while ago I enabled my XMP to run my ram at 2400mhz but still it runs at 2133mhz what am I supposed to do to fix this? I am using an 8GB single channel ram. PC Specs: Processor: I5-6400 Motherboard: Asus H170 Pro Gaming GPU: GTX 1060 6GB Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws V 8gb 2400hz DDR4 single channel

I'm just curious whether one of my components are defective because i've been experiencing unsual changes in my computer's performance

I do have a I5-6400 and an GTX 1060 6GB and my ram is 8GB single stick. I am experiencing low fps compared to other benchmarks with the same processor and gpu but not the ram. It could be the ram thats why im not getting enough fps or my gpu is defective? Thank you
