Ok, so that explains why you have double the write speed. I will try to manually set up the ram, maybe it helps as now I feel really uncertain. AIDA seems ok but all other benchmarks show slower speeds, even the DRAM Calculator.

I have mine in 2 and 4. What CPU do you have?

Are you sure that you had it at 3600 in the first run? It says there it's at 2133. I would test again with 3600. I tested mine with AIDA and it shows the following. Also tested with Ryzen DRAM Calculator and it gives the same results as PassMark. How can I be sure my memory is all ok?

I saw a decreased performance in Far Cry 4, where I have framedrops, high CPU Usage (80-90%) and low GPU Usage (60%). The 4770K upgrade would be faster, as I can do it now and not have to wait to sell all my existing hardware and save up more money for the upgrade.

Hey guys, I have the following setup, and I was thinking about upgrading to an i7 4770K (arround 200$) while selling my i5 4570 (~120$). Is it a worthy upgrade? I am constantly seeing a cpu usage of over 80% in games, and I would like to know if I the i7 4770K is ok or I should change everything...

Hello, no issues with two stick.. but none of them was in a set. I upgraded my ram throughout the years. But, i tried the only combo I did not try before, my oldest 2 sticks and the last one i bought. It's been 3 days now without a BSOD. Maybe the 3'rd one I bough had some compatibility issues...

To be honest I did not try slots 1-3, as the motherboard manual says to use slots 2-4, or 1-2-3-4. I will try this now. But.. couldn't it just be that the motherboard has some issue so that it can't use correctly more than 2 slots?

CPU-Z shows 933, also, I have the latest BIOS. Buying 2x 8GB after I already own 16GB (let's say 12 as I can send 1 stick back) would be a far more costly measure than buying another board. I will try to install the 2 other Kinstone sticks (replace the installed ones) to see how that works...

So, for anort3.. I started with 2 Kingston sticks and 2 Teamgroup ones. WIth the teamgroup ones instant BSOD, even the windows install gave a BSOD. So, I took them out, and everything was ok for a couple of days. Then, I bought another kingston stick, because I said 8GB is not enough. The BSOD's...

My ram speed is set to Auto, and displays 1866 in the BIOS, also if I set them to 1866 manually, windows still shows 1333... these Kingston ones don't support XMP sadly. I reinstalled windows once.. when I had only 3 of these Kingston rams and it did not help.

Yes, in the last dump I had all 4 installed. The odd thing is the 1333MHz reading. I have the rams set to 1866

It's been 2 days, and no crash since running only with 2x 4gb. I have not tested if this is enough, but the bad thing is that I cannot send one of the new bought sticks back, so maybe I will have to change my motherboard. I found an Asrock Z87 Extreme 4 for cheap, is it a good board?
