They both seem to do OC'ing well, though i guess if i want SLI/CFX later, the Gene-z would be the better option. And since i don't plan to do that, i would guess the P8P67-m is the best choice.

I'm looking into making a 2500k build, and have decided that these two mobos will be ideal for a m-atx setup. Now i'm just wondering if the gene-z's higher cost is worth it or not.

You can only crossfire/SLI with two of the same cards! Trying to CF with on-board GPU and dedicated will not work.

Is there any difference on the HX and TX besides modularity?

I'm into buying a new PSU and decided that a 600W-650W should be more than enough. I ended up with having to decide between these two: OCZ StealthXStream 2 600W and Corsair TX650W I already knew the corsair would be a good choice, but the OCZ looks interesting too. Got it from this list...

He told me, when he had sent the cpu and mobo in, he had gotten the cpu back, but the mobo was changed for a new one. Is it possible to test if there's faults with one of them, somehow without putting it in other systems? He doesn't have that option.
