why is it that if you custom order the dv7z you can add a 3450 card (256 or 512) but i cant upgrade, i mean its going to come with the 3200HD too anyways because it is intergrated from my understanding so what would be difference between them adding it now and me adding it later i would assume...

you know whats weird if my firewire (1394) net adapter is disabled mine wont show either, unless my wireless is enabled too.... maybe something to do with it being set as "only show when inactive"

more then likely the laptops have only G NICS, and its good because within the network you have speeds 3x as fast and 3x as far, the N may help with signal however, but you got to ask is it worth 30/40 more bucks for the router then 60/70 for each comp(guessing) NIC for less "dead spots" that...

how is your signal strength? Is it only disconnecting when you play WOW? If so you may need to unblock some ports for WOW

you could install another NIC and connect the laptop to internet through computer

you have your starting ip address set to 192.168.0.100... notice how it obtained 100 instead of lower number like 3/5/10 etc (unless you manually set it up).... internet comes to router then it has two places asking for same connection so it can only give one.... you will have to change in...

i will bet your dad's comp is set up to obtain ip address, i would check your "starting ip address" in your router settings to make sure it has enough ip's to issue without duplication like he said check both ip's to make sure they are not the same, if they are check to see if your dad's is...

its going to be detected as USB Mass storage thats what it is.... and your lucky if it doesnt assign 5 different drives...... did you install drivers and format it?

i wouldnt think it would be in the drives (you had two fail at same exact time).... i would check/replace your controller on your motherboard....
