Update I got the drive to work I used a molex to SATA adapter for power and it did the trick!

I'm on mobile so sorry for any issues. Because of prime day I saw a great deal on a very high capacity external drive from Western digital. I know that basically all external drives are just internal drives in enclosures, because I had dismantled an external drive before and used it internally...

I haven't tried that, and I will. However I don't believe the issue is with the GPUs because even when applying shaders and other graphical mods fps is barely impacted at all. Vanilla install, regular world, nothing opened but MC, settings normal not high, and still terrible fps.
