    Tom's Hardware Steam Giveaway - PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

Now that I look back I notice that I haven't played that many online shooters. CS:GO and BF4 mostly. The most favourite one would probably be CS:GO as you can easily jump in with your friends and enjoy the game for a while.

    i5-4670K 4.3Ghz OC @ 1.2V - Need some more advice and thoughts

Another update: There is a CS:GO tournament going on currently and I left it spectating the game for a while. It BSOD after some time. I didn't look at the temps at that time but I went and increased the voltage to 1.21V. I opened the game again and I've checked the temps after a while - they...

    i5-4670K 4.3Ghz OC @ 1.2V - Need some more advice and thoughts

Update: Changing the Power Settings in Windows back to "Balanced", the frequency goes down to 800Mhz while idle. The voltage is still jumpy in the same range, but it doesn't go to 1.2V unless I run something heavy. (All read from CPU-Z)

    i5-4670K 4.3Ghz OC @ 1.2V - Need some more advice and thoughts

Hello. I've decided to overclock my CPU after many years. I have no experience with overclocking but I've used Intel God's "Quick and Dirty OC" thread as a guideline. I'd like some advice on whether I need to change some more settings in the BIOS. Here are the BIOS settings...

Which part of my PC that i should upgrade first ?

If you wanted to get i5-4570, then you'd have to get another board since Skylake and Haswell motherboards have different sockets. If you want an i5, get a Skylake one and skip on changing the MB. RAM is fine, I guess. More and more games require at least 8GB of RAM (as seen in many official...

    98% usage on idle

Something similar has already been discussed here, so you might wanna read through the comments and see if any of the suggested stuff works for you. For OP of the linked thread, this seems to have fixed the problem, but it has something to do with his on-board network device. You may also try...

    Upgrading RAM to dual channel

And I'd just like to add that you can check whether your RAM is actually running in dual-channel mode or not by downloading CPU-Z and clicking on the Memory tab. You should see this.

    Upgrading RAM to dual channel

It's most definitely slots 1&3 or 2&4. We can look a little deeper and find the manual that can confirm this, but RAM slots are neatly painted the same colour for dual-channel RAM installation (as can be seen on the official website). TL;DR Put those sticks in the same-coloured slots.

    Boot device/ media, reinstalling Win10

I am not sure how you got there, to be honest. Did you try to boot your PC without any OS? How exactly did you try to reinstall your Windows? If you don't have an OS on your hard drive, then you cannot really use your PC properly. You must have an OS burned to a bootable media (CD/DVD/Thumb...
