98% usage on idle

Hello, i got my my current pc about a year ago now and have only been using it to play games and do school work. I have 16 GB of RAM but yet i am using 98% on idle. The highest usage program running is currently opera which is what im using to write this and it's only using 30MB. I do not know what is causing it and i hope for your help. Something similar has already been discussed here, so you might wanna read through the comments and see if any of the suggested stuff works for you.

For OP of the linked thread, this seems to have fixed the problem, but it has something to do with his on-board network device.

You may also try to simply restart your PC and update your drivers.
