Can I use my internal HDD to transfer files from another PC to my PC as if it were an external HDD or USB device. Obviously I will need to use a SATA cable. I'm wondering if this would cause any problems when I plugged the HDD back into my PC. My OS is stored on another drive (SSD)

You can just add another stick of ram as far as i know. Dual channel is better but only marginally. Are you going to get the FX6300 like I said or is it too expensive? Like I said, i'm really not sure about dual core CPUs for modern games. I would also strongly advise against getting an Xbox...

Go for FX6300 instead if possible and I think 8GB of RAM is needed for gaming from what I've read. If you really can't afford 8Gb, then get one stick of 4GB RAM, then upgrade later.

Are the front panel connectors connected correctly (check motherboard manual)? Have you installed motherboard stand-offs correctly? If you have another PSU, then use it to determine whether the other one is the problem.

Logitech g502 has received good reviews universally apart from one issue with the feet wearing away but now it comes with replacements so shouldn't be a problem. If that's too expensive, you could try a Steelseries sensei raw.
