Gpu is working perfectly but CPU temps are way too high even when pc is idle 65-75min and even to 100 c without load

i want know why it started happening just 4-5 days ago before that it was working fine . Did my thermal paste go off in on single day

I restarted my pc and CPU came down to 60 when idle and goes to 98 while gaming with lag

Thanks for the reply I used speedfan gor temperatures GPU - 47 when idle Temp 1 - 40 Temp 2 - -(minus)128 Temp 3 - 91 Hd0 - 37 Temp 1 -28 Temp 2 - 30 Core 0 - 96 Core - 98 All these are in Celsius And it is only showing two cores thogh my CPU is quad core
