Thanks for the response! I took your advice and dropped to a 1660ti i stuck with the 1080p monitor for the high refresh rate and low price also added a secondary drive (2tb) Thank you!

Control Panel > System Security > Power options If its in High-performance mode change that to balanced and see if that helps

It's always system with like 98% CPU and 87% DISK On idle whenever I do anything they both spike to 100% each
