Question I can't seem to update my BIOS

I didn't find a solution for BIOS updating with the 5600x, but it did work on the first try after I installed the 5800x3D. The method I used to update it was EZ Flash in the BIOS. Not sure what the exact issue was, maybe it was the CPU itself, but I figured I should update this thread

Question I can't seem to update my BIOS

I followed everything exactly as the guides said but it still didn't work, so I'll probably try updating it without a CPU installed once I buy the new one

    Possible GPU Upgrade

Wow this thread is old I forgot lol. But I never ended up testing a 960 in it, instead I bought an HP Omen that I am trying to upgrade right now. The 960 should work though since it's in the supported gpu list for the m91p

    [SOLVED] GPU Upgrade Isn't Working

I used a 6-pin combined with a 2-pin to make 8. Also yeah, that HP Omen looks like it's closer to mine, but the motherboard is different. Mine is an Odensense2-k (IMP17-DD2). Other than that everything is the same Edit: Everything works now, I just reseated it, tried a different 6+2 pin set...

    [SOLVED] GPU Upgrade Isn't Working

Hi! I just upgraded my GTX 1060 3GB to a Zotac GTX 1660S AMP. When I installed the new gpu, the pc would not boot. None of the leds turned on, including power, but the cpu and gpu fans turned on for a second then turned right back off. I do have a prebuilt, but I did a lot of research into the...

Question RAM That Previously Worked is no Longer Working

One of the sticks ended up dying on me so as of right now I am using MemTest86 to see how well one 8GB stick and one 4GB stick from different brands work together. I wanted to have a full 16 but I can settle for 12 as long as the test shows no errors

Question RAM That Previously Worked is no Longer Working

I'll try this in a bit and come back with results

Question RAM That Previously Worked is no Longer Working

Yeah that was something I made sure to do, but I might not have done it every time. But if that was the case then I think there would probably be a problem with the GPU too since usually I removed it to reach the RAM

Question RAM That Previously Worked is no Longer Working

Specs: CPU- i5 6600k GPU- GTX 1060 3GB RAM- Now 8GB (Was 16) PSU- NZXT 750w 80+ Gold So recently I cleared my CMOS battery in order to reset my BIOS to default because of a strange power issue. Before the CMOS clear, I installed a new 2x8 kit of DDR4 RAM in the pc (maybe a week before) and...

    Possible GPU Upgrade

I think I found my answer; it looks like the M91p only supports Nvidia series GPUs from the GT 420 to the GTX 980. So I might end up buying the GTX 960 4GB SC I've been looking at and see if it works. For anyone else with a problem like mine, here is the Lenovo ThinkCentre M91p Approved GPU...

    Possible GPU Upgrade

I checked and it seems like a GTX 960 works on a Lenovo ThinkCentre M81 so it might work on mine. I think I'll wait some for other people to say something here first though

    Possible GPU Upgrade

CPU: i5-2400 GPU: Gigabyte GTX 660 2X OC Windforce Edition RAM: 16GB DDR3 Dual Channel PSU: NZXT 750W 80+ Gold I want to upgrade my GTX 660 to something like a GTX 960 with 4gb on it, but I'm worried the BIOS of my OEM Lenovo M91p won't support modern cards like that. The motherboard has a...

    Prey (2017) and Minimum Requirements

I already did. And it defaulted me to low settings but native resolution (1600x900) and with Vsync on. So I think I can run it just fine, feels pretty smooth and playable too

    Prey (2017) and Minimum Requirements

So, my rig meets the exact minimum system requirements for Prey (2017), and here is what my specs are: CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 3.1Ghz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 660 Windforce 2X OC Edition (2GB GDDR5) RAM: 16GB DDR3 HDD: 500GB I've seen Prey (2017) average around 30 fps on 720p low settings on a build...
