Question GTX 1650 on a 240 watt psu

You will either need a normal power supply and a 6 pin adapter to plug into the "ATX_SYS" white connector in the top right of the ebay image (mini ITX power supplies are available) or basically salvage the good parts and start a new build. Dell is certainly not a company that makes things...

Question GTX 1650 on a 240 watt psu

The calculators are pretty accurate for safe estimation. Dell systems are not "proprietary" by any means. They just use funky parts in a lot of their stuff because it's mass produced PCs for those who don't know how to build or don't want to look into what they are actually getting.

Question GTX 1650 on a 240 watt psu

Explode? - No. Be able to handle what you want it to do? - No. My conservative calc using this site https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator recommends 343W, so a 350W would just get you by. Also, you'd get a much better performance increase with a 1660. 1660 TI would be even more bonus...

    Question PC crashes regularly

If you're really worried about the cpu temp, I would take your cooler off, clean it, and put new paste on. Also clean out the fins on the heat sink. The power supply could have aged poorly and might be failing under load - when the CPU and GPU are demanding higher power during games.

Question EVGA 2070 XC vs FTW

Can only hope other brands will finally compete with Nvidia. Intel's stuff drops next year too.

Question Stuttering in demanding games with a good pc

This should sum it up: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9-x4JAfJZM AMD chips simply don't work as nicely as Intel with some games. The Ryzen was specifically built to be a work horse in encoding, compressing, editing, etc. Intel CPUs have better management in pushing the work meant for...

Question EVGA 2070 XC vs FTW

I assume that's what you're looking for. That site leaves everything stock for their comparisons - some GPUs have better chips and cooling solutions that would allow users to overclock them further. If you're just looking to buy and never overclock, just get a cheap version of the card you want.

    Question PC crashes regularly

75°C is usually a throttle point for CPUs. What wattage is your power supply and what brand? When did you last replace your CPU thermal paste?

Question What can cause this weird colours :s ?

Download a benchmarking tool or try a different game that has a benchmark function. Test it out at the different refresh rates and see if the same issue occurs. If it doesn't, it's likely the game servers. If it does, your GPU might be going or have a poor connection.

    Question Cannot turn pc off

I had this issue with my first PC build. The best thing to do is strip down your computer to only the necessary parts - boot drive, cpu, mobo, power supply, 1 stick of RAM. If the issue goes away with that, slowly add parts back until you find when the issue starts. For me, it was the mobo dying...

    Memory won't go above 1333mhz

When I enabled the XMP at the higher CPU clock, the same cycle of boot error came up. Even trying to push to 1800 mhz causes the boot loop until I change it back.

    Memory won't go above 1333mhz

I can get it to boot at 1600 with 4 GHz cpu clock.

    Memory won't go above 1333mhz

Upped VTT to 1.104 and had CPU at 4 GHz, still won't run the ram any faster than 1333.

    Memory won't go above 1333mhz

DRAM and VTT are currently set to auto. VTT is 0.768-1.634V min/max and set at 1.076V. DRAM is 1.65-1.8V min/max, set at 1.65V. Are there any other settings other than CPU speed I would need to change?
