Setting my resolution to 1920x1080 in a custom game compared to 1280x720 my max fps dropped about 3.9% from 645 to 620. My GPU usage peaked at about 21%. I guess its normal to assume this will be my FPS drop when I use a 1920x1080 monitor.

I see, thanks. I believe my GPU usage IS under 50%. I also tried the DSR thing. In the NVIDIA control panel it said 'native' next to the res of 1024x768. So in the DSR i change it to 2.25x native. Then I did an fps check and my fps was exactly the same as with DSR being off. What does that...

Alright, I'll give it a try. But I see youtube benchmarks with the same CPU who get 240fps on 1080p. As valorant is a CPU heavy game I'm assuming the GPU doesnt play a huge role in that. SO why is it that you think going to 1080p for me will reduce the FPS?
