I am having a heck of a time getting Win10 to install on my SSD using the MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon. When it does attempt to install (and yes, I did adjust the bios to allow Win10/8 installation and Secure Boot is on) it gets super slow then only loads to about 25% before freezing or erroring...

Do you think it would be worth it to upgrade to the Maximus V from the IV? I can get a decent deal on a new one (my IV is about 4-5 years old now) and it will support PCI-E 3.0 for my Nvidia 970 GTX.

I find my 770 GTX more than sufficient for 1080p gaming at half the price. I prefer the MSI's to the other's so far, though they don't come with a backplate if you're worried about how your computer looks through a side panel.

It looks like they have 3 GPU's that are pretty much the same thing. We've got red and black, green and black, and now a white and black version they are going to call the 970 GTX OC which all seem to have the same build and stats, just different colors and write-ups. Just gotta love that...
