Take a DVD player for example. Mine's rated for "14 W". Does that mean it's going to draw 14 watts at maximum, or does it mean something else? How much energy would it be expected to draw if it were on, but not playing a DVD, or using any of its other functions? Thanks!

I've got two very dirty CRT televisions that I've taken a liking to, but they're just so filthy that no (reasonable) amount of rubbing alcohol and q-tips can clean. Can I run their plastic cases in the dishwasher without them suffering any sort of chemical damage? Thanks!

I'm going to be using it with a Gamecube and Xbox 360. I already have a modulator, but I have no way to connect it to the tv. I'm going up to a cabin that doesn't have any tv's, and I can't be bothered to sit on a boat and fish all day, so it's going to be all that I've got.

I have an old Zenith tv that only has the screw terminals for an antenna. What kind of converter would I need to hook it up to a normal RF cable? Thanks!

Thanks Solandri! I have the 637 hooked up from triax to a CCU, which then outputs to Component. I currently don't have a computer than can accept component (technically RGB BNC), but I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

I have a Sony DXC-637, and I've connected it to a dvd recorder, but from what I understand, DVD is about 720x480p. However, the DXC-637 captures roughly 800 horizontal lines, and I assume the vertical lines will be larger than 480 as well. Will the recording look worse on DVD since it has to...

Howdy! I would like to record my ARMA III gaming onto an SVHS device. However, my camera, and VCR only accept S-Video or Composite input. Can I run a second video card with S-video output into my VCR or camera to record? Any alternative suggestions would be appreciated, too! Windows 8.1...
