Thanks thought I damaged something back there. Dark scratch is really all that remains so i guess everything is so far fine. I hope my 1 year warranty is enough to back me.

That's a bit loud for me. I've ran my PC without the glass panel and it dropped by 5 degrees so arranging my airflow is my next move. If that doesn't help I'm reseating my cooler with Arctic MX-4 or kryonaut. And see from there if it helps. If it doesn't time to open another thread. Prime 95...
Yes I need to let this thread die that's all really my paranoia is sorta over. Thank you again for all the help and this will be the last from this thread I promise.
Hey so quick update. here is a pic of my cpu mount to show you how it got damaged in the first place.
and I have encountered another issue.
The Damage might not be visible but that's good.
Another problem I encountered with long use of my machine, is overheating.

Thank you very much for the informative reply on helping noobies like me.
I wish you all the fortunes in life for taking your time helping this community and other noobs out there
That picture is really just what happened to me but just with one capacitor. I have already put the back the cooler and is hard to take a picture of it. I have no thermal paste left so I can't take it off anymore. I don't believe it's punctured but maybe dented slightly
Hello, when I took my cooler off I noticed that the Vrm capacitors had slight movement. And upon closer inspection there seems to be a scratch on the paint of one capacitor and seems like a dent (haven't seen it upclose yet). The rest seems fine aside from the slight movement it had when the...
Sorry to revive this but when I took the cooler off to clean the CPU, I noticed one Vrm capacitor that had scratches/dents in it that the CPU heatsink mount thing might have put pressure on since it's so close. How may the damage be?
