[SOLVED] Laptop battery registers, but does not provide power or charge.

Hi, Laptop is an Acer V3-372-55PS. I recently dropped my laptop from a height of about 50 centimeters. After the drop the battery would work as normal, except for when i applied pressure on some parts of the laptop (for example the handrests, right above the battery), then it would just...

    970 Strix weird clicking noise

I finally found the culprit - when i installed the second 970 i loosened a piece of plastic protection on the motherboard that i had missed when i built the machine. It would get sucked into the fan on the upper 970 when it was spinning fast, hence the sound. Anyways, thanks for the help.

    970 Strix weird clicking noise

It's an RM750x that i bought in early 2016. I will take the card out tomorrow to get a closer look at it, but i couldn't see anything brushing against the fans when i looked at it before.

    970 Strix weird clicking noise

Hi I bought a used gtx 970 Strix card, and after having been under load for a few minutes, it makes the sound as shown in the video (sounds kinda like there's a mouse gnawing inside of it). It's still covered by warranty, but I just want to know if there's anything i can do about it, or if this...

    Upgrading my components

If your budget is as high as 500-600 pounds, you might aswell (imo) sell your entire old system (if you can get around 300 pounds for it). With a budget of around 800-900 pounds, you could build a very decent brand new system with a i5-6600k processor and a GTX 970.

    First PC build

That CPU is a huge overkill for the GPU. If you focus on gaming, maybe you should save some money there, sell your old GPU and get something stronger. Don't know how CPU demanding streaming is though. I don't know what your prices are, but if you were to build a rig like that where i live...

    About this pc

Most gamers (i assume that's what you will be using this for) will not need more than 8gb ram. If you're buying from new, you might aswell go for a skylake processor. If you don't plan on overclocking, you could also save some money, and buy a non-k processor.

If your budget is 500 pounds, you might aswell sell your old system and build something completely new imo.

    Define R5 fans not spinning

As i'm only (currently) using 1 SSD, i have already removed all the HDD cages. Not gonna remove the side panel though, as i'm optimizing the system for silence. It's either bottom fan or an additional front fan.

Ah, okay. Thank you for your answers.

    Define R5 fans not spinning

Well the fans shouldn't connect to the motherboard so i figured it wouldn't matter. Do you know why they aren't spinning?

    Define R5 fans not spinning

Hi So while i'm waiting for my motherboard to arrive, i decided to assemble as much of my new PC as i could (firsttime builder). I have prepared the case, installed the power supply, connected the SATA connector from the fan controller to a SATA power cable from my power supply, and the fan...
