Thinking of upgrading to either i7 8700 with a gtx 1080 or an i5 8600k with a 1080ti, would like to know what would be better? Only use for gaming, games like pubg, ark, ghost recon wildlands and many more. Preferably want to run any game on ultra with an 144hz moniter at 1440p Thanks

Is it worth upgrading to an i5 8600k? Current spec: I5 7400 Gtx 1060 6gb evga sc 8gb ddr4 ram 650watt psu 1tb hard drive
