Yesterday ny computer started acting up, it boots fine but laga horribly as soon as I get to the desktop. I was troubkeshooting the ram, and it does the same thing with one of the two sticks, but doesn't even boot with just the second stick. Time for new RAM? MSI B360+ Intel i7-8700K Corsair...

The other day I turned my PC off as normal, and today when I go to start it everything starts okay but then it lags so horribly I can't open anything, and my cursor freezes as well. Usually Corsair link sets my mouse/keyboard colour a couple seconds after booting but that's not happening either...

Yeah Ive been trying to get them to switch, its my mom thats uninterested. Working on it though. Thank you for the heads up!

Making a whole new build using my old CPU and mobo, but keeping the same HDDs from their old windows 7 desktop. I was running windows 10 on with the old CPU and mobo. Just trying to figure out if there would be a clash

Im upgrading my parents computer and they're keeping they're HDDs. Can I use my old CPU and mobo that were in my windows 10 comp with their HDDs that were in a windows 7 comp?

Just upgraded from and i5-6700k to an i7-8700k, same socket, same power draw, and when I try to start my computer it just beeps and instantly shuts off most of the time or runs and has no display

It's the power supply

Currently trying the PSU out of my own case to see if that is the issue

Sorry forgot to mention we upgraded the ram as well, 16GB of new Ripjaw ram. Everything is new except for the PSU
