I have the MSI GTX 1070 and I have noticed lately when I open the MSI Gaming App, the MHz reading just stays pegged on 1582Mhz...I dont think this was the case early on when I installed the card...it would be like down at 200something MHz.

bought some 2400 speed ddr4 for my skylake build and the motherboard runs it at 2133 and timings are at 15...The specs say this is cas 12 latency.
