NVM!!! it was the power supply!!!

As the title states is it safe to assume the psu failed the test last time my pc won't boot it was my motherboard and i did the same test and the psu and fan turned on and stayed on. Can it be my psu this time? Also to note before I did the test when I just tried to power on the pc like normal...

Well guys i got a new motherboard, it wored of course. I will now onow to be safe next time i oc if ever again lol. Thanks for all the help and responses 👍

Trust me i'm not offended. I'm just little more pissed at myself. Oh and another thing does overclocking the gpu affect mobo as well?The next motherboard will be a little more exspensive with some sorta vrm cooling and so on for the future.

Noted, probably should've researched looked up a oc guide for it sooner or left it. It not certain yes but one thing i will say is on the old board i had it oc'd to 3.9 at 1.8 much higher than this one so that's probably why this one lasted longer

I want to put my money on that it was the overclock. Ohad oc to 3.6ghz and 1.5V. Was that to harsh

I am using a surge protector yes the same outlet. I guess the best thing to do is to get a new motherboard, better quality psu and surge protector. But the power didn't go off that night. I also did the psu test with a paper and a fan it worked, but that doesn't mean its fully functional.

What i just realised this morning is when i press the pwr button the led's ike the led on the power button and fan led's flash once then nothing happens. This is a day after i cleared cmos and all the other mobo recovery steps. Could this be a sign that the that's it's the psu this time and not...

Thanks For the help guys decide to just jerry rig a 80 mm case fan on it and replace the thermal compond and it's running almost 10C° cooler so i guess it was for the best 😁 and when removed the heatsink i got a clear view of the fan header and something did burn out right next to the fan...

and should i postion it to suck air out the gpu or blow air into it?

I'll try the warranty it would be very difficult and expensive to ship it as I do not live is the U.S but if I were to jerry rig it for the time being could i just strap on a fan or is it best to take out the dead fan THEN strap on a fan?

If i was still within the warranty i would have to ship it to them right?
