Another update, i replugged all ram sticks after constantly plugging and unplugging and its working but think its going to not turn on again lol

I think it might be this ram stick that i bought a while back. when i first bought it i had to keep changing slots for it to work. Now it works without it and didn't have to reset cmos. but it's weird cause the ram stick it self actually works.

Figured it out today, i used displayport on my onboard graphics and it shows up to 280hz. Looks like like glenwing said, must be capped to 120hz on hdmi

Looks like it's hdmi 2.0 according to one website but another says it's 1.4a. the back of the monitors is xb253q GWbmiiprzx , the cable came with the monitor so I'm not sure.

haha yep. I just plugged it in because it seemed correct according to the mobo labeling and then pulled it out for no good reason lol.

I wasa just an idiot, who should have been more confident lol. I took out the connector, took a bit of time. Suprisingly pins in great condition. Mobo works and pc boots up fine. It probs would have happened anyways when I go to get my new mobo.
