I would spend the money on a laptop, but my wife cares enough about form factor that she finds the Surface Pro appealing. Her comparison is to the MacBook Air and its ilk. I wouldn't buy one but I see the market.

I have had a set of akg over-ear headphones since before they were cool. Super comfortable and durable. These don't look like either. Beats are ok headphones for $50 I think. The rest is just crazy markup and endorsement fees.

I can see this in high end doctor's offices or the like, with a screen like that it would be nice for reviewing medical scans etc.

On their Facebook it is indicated that this will indeed hold full size graphics cards. Looking like a very nice option for a compact full power rig.
